In one of the many Geogrpahy classes I took in college we talked about how global warming could push our world into an ice age. Melting polar icecaps, changing ocean temps and currents, which would then affect the weather. Makes some sense, but really:D We also talked about how it wouldn't be something that would happen quickly but would be a gradual change.

Supposedly, global warming is the lead factor in causing a new ice age later on. I don't pretend to really understand it.

Heat freezes, well duh. Of course. If ocean levels get too much higher I'm for-seeing about 40 relatives moving in so I'm all for the ice age bit.
