Music Lovers...

So I am very into Brandi Carlile right now - My mommy got me the CD and as I was reading the cover I saw that the song that I love the most was not written by her. It was actually written by a male member of the band. I was very surprised and I have to say a little disappointed. I know I should respect the artist, especially for lyrics that I love, but I just pictured her writing them and I felt connected to her since I started listening. It is still an AWESOME song but I get a different vibe picturing a man with pen in hand.
