Misguided anger

Standing up for values does not mean we hate.

I read about it and was surprised at the anger against the church. I loved this quote:

"I am appalled at the level of Mormon-bashing that went on during the Proposition 8 campaign and continues to this day," he said. "If this activity were directed against any other church, if someone put up a website that targeted Jews or Catholics in a similar fashion for the mere act of participating in a political campaign, it would be widely and rightfully condemned."

I love that some people will stand up for what is right. Mormon Mommy Wars posted about this yesterday and sent a link to an organization which declared Nov. 5 Mormon Appreciation Day for what they did to help pass Prop 8.

OH man, such drama.

This makes me terribly sad.But just think the closer we get to the end of days the more the church and families will be hit. Satan does not want this church to succeed and he will do everything in his power to stop it. I am so thankful for the knowledge that I have that the gospel is true. It is important that we keep standing up for issues that are moral right! I am glad the church did what it did. It is just sad that other people don't feel the same way. Sorry for the long post. This is a subject that I actually have an opinion about! :)
