We just went on a trip similar to yours. Michael's 94 year old grandma passed away last month in CA. We left the older 2 in school and took Lily with us. I almost feel guilty to say we had a nice time but we did! Michael still gets sad when he thinks of his "GG" as we called her. I bet you are glad you were able to make the trip.
