supposedly you can use any soap (but it has to be soap - not something like dove which is mostly lotion) but I have stuck with specifically laundry soap
I like the the fels naptha smell :)
this smells like nothing at all - like ivory you can order zote by the case online but last time I checked it was double the price that I bought it for at the grocery store, I don't know if that means the price is going to go up soon or if they are just gouging you online.
and you can also buy the washing soda in bulk because its used in pools - sodium carbonate, but its more expensive in bulk online too -

I'm gonna give it a whirl. I wonder if i can come across white zote here, that fels naptha stuff was stinky. Can you use other soaps too?
