It was not quite warm enough yet, but it was sunny, so off to the beach we went. We have to maximize "fun" days before the kids are stuck in the house with me and a newborn. Even though the water was too cold - we had a blast.

Love the swim suit wedgie (only works on a cute little toddler bum though)! Did you guys ever get to cook anything over the bonfire Kyle got going? :)

Looks like fun. It's the same here; air is hot, water, not so much. How did they get that sand by the lake? You get fresh water and sand, that's perfect. No waves, though.
What's wrong with the BBQ? That's what ours looks like all the time, I thought that was normal.
It's a normal barbecue I think, I am just a scaredy cat. Kyle made some yummy hamburgers and Meg had made 24 hour salad!!! Heaven. They truck the sand in - its perfect: lake, but no yucky bottom - and you get mini waves when the speed boats zoom by.
