Learning to take better pictures... Maiya is officially the world's most difficult toddler to photograph -- she absolutely hates being posed - the best thing to do is just zoom in from 50 yards away for her... oh well this is the flicker account http://www.flickr.com/photos/momofoz/ - to check them out, there were over 60 photos that I liked, a little too much for the blog. Click on the Prather Park 2007 set then view as a slideshow - I think that is the best way anyway. Grandma, Nana, and Aunt Beth tell me which ones you like the best and I will email you the pictures to print or I can print them for you.

Some cute photos. Seems like a good idear, a photo shoot, might have to try that. My fave was the one of all 3 black and white and Maiya had the blanky in her mouth. Maybe try a white background. Remember, circles.
I loved your photos. You did a great job and the park was a fabulous place to do it! I may have to look for a place like that for our next family pictures!
You are getting better and better, Janie!! I think you may have found your second (third? fourth? fifth?) calling! (wife, mother, great d-i-l,etc.)The pics brought tears -- our babies are beautiful and growing up so fast! I liked your b&w pics, too. Nice touch. It will be hard to pick which I'd like hard copies of -- too many! I'll look again and give you our VERY favorites! Any way I can do the slide show as a screensaver? Love you all!!
Thanks Alice that made me feel nice - while taking them I didn't feel like I was getting what I wanted but once I uploaded them and took a breath I really liked them.
Kristi - what do you mean by circles? Is that a photography term or something obvious - but yeah I am going to play with backgrounds - I wasn't crazy about that one. I think I'll have to find different subjects the kids are sick of me taking pictures of them.
