Cute, Janie! I have scanned Aliza's sheet to post too! Just saving it for a slow blog day! PS, Aliza came home one of the first days and said, Mom, I got a C on my spelling. I said, really? Let me see it. (Like you, I am thinking, wow this new teacher is a tough grader!) and it was that smiley face!! Aliza was relieved!
